If you're anything like me you've been praying to the weather gods to bring cozy, comfy, layering temperatures so you can start incorporating some of your favorite fall essentials into your style! I LOVE fall weather and everything that comes along with it, especially the hottest textures for 2017!
Just because it's getting colder outside does not mean the temperatures need to drop when it comes to how hot you feel in your new fall style!
I had a little fun with my girl Emily from LBD to show off not only my favorite texture trends this season, but how to rock them into the colder months in a cool, unique, and dare I say, HOT way!
FUZZY!
Super soft, fluffy, pet-able materials are all the rage this season! This material can easily add weight so in order to keep the look flattering, opt for a fitted shape. This style looks great tucked into a skirt or cropped! Adding a peek-a-boo of lace, like Emily, gives an element of romance to the cutesy texture!
VELVET!
My absolute favorite texture this fall! Who knew this blast from the past would come full circle! You can add in a pop of velvet with your shoe, a great blazer or kimono, or as Emily did here with a fun top! Another way to give better shape to thicker material is to tie a knot to show off your best asset! I knotted this super funky top to give it a little more edge and much more sex appeal!
SHEER!
Full on sheer layers are can be quite the statement piece as shown here. Emily is rocking the sheer turtleneck onesie over a lace brallette for optimal impact. If this feels too risque for you, try this trend layered under one of your favorite spring or summer dresses for some warmth that still adds a textured detail to any look!
