Thanksgiving is right around the corner!  This holiday; full of love and appreciation, is exactly what we all need right now!  It is a time to be grateful, to share loving moments with your friends and family, to be thankful for every day, and to eat lots of delicious food! 😍

Some will be staying home and celebrating around their own dining room table, some will be traveling to meet up with their Thanksgiving Day crew in someone else's home, and other's will be heading out to a festive dining experience out on the town.  Weather you're looking for a casual look, a festive yet approachable vibe, or fancy attire this holiday, comfort and stretch on Thanksgiving is always key!

Fall Trends That Will Never Die!

They're what we've been waiting for!

I may be outnumbered here, but I dream of the days that I can throw on some of my fall essentials throughout the warmer seasons!  I just love the effortless style and comfort of fall fashion. Not to mention, everything else that comes along with some of my favorite fall trends!

Today I want to highlight some of the tried and true cozy essentials that have been around for decades and aren't going anywhere!  Below are some of my favorite classic warm weather "go-to's" with a super chic modern twist to get you through this year's late fall weather drop!

CHUNKY KNITS!

This one-size-fits-all chunky knit is everything!  
I love the unique hemline, criss-cross detail, oversized sleeves, and most of all, that cozy neckline!

SUEDE!

If you're looking to add in a pop of suede this season opt for a fitted jacket rather than the typical booty option!  Keep it fresh and modern with a bodysuit and high waisted denim!

PLAID!

I. AM. OBSESSED.

This oversized plaid super soft mix between a jacket and cardigan will instantly take any look to the next level!

Fuzzy, Velvet, and Sheer, OH MY!

Fall is full of fabulous textures!

If you're anything like me you've been praying to the weather gods to bring cozy, comfy, layering temperatures so you can start incorporating some of your favorite fall essentials into your style!  I LOVE fall weather and everything that comes along with it, especially the hottest textures for 2017!

Just because it's getting colder outside does not mean the temperatures need to drop when it comes to how hot you feel in your new fall style!  

I had a little fun with my girl Emily from LBD to show off not only my favorite texture trends this season, but how to rock them into the colder months in a cool, unique, and dare I say, HOT way!

FUZZY!

Super soft, fluffy, pet-able materials are all the rage this season!  This material can easily add weight so in order to keep the look flattering, opt for a fitted shape.  This style looks great tucked into a skirt or cropped!  Adding a peek-a-boo of lace, like Emily, gives an element of romance to the cutesy texture!

  

VELVET!

My absolute favorite texture this fall!  Who knew this blast from the past would come full circle!  You can add in a pop of velvet with your shoe, a great blazer or kimono, or as Emily did here with a fun top! Another way to give better shape to thicker material is to tie a knot to show off your best asset!  I knotted this super funky top to give it a little more edge and much more sex appeal!

SHEER!

Full on sheer layers are can be quite the statement piece as shown here.  Emily is rocking the sheer turtleneck onesie over a lace brallette for optimal impact.  If this feels too risque for you, try this trend layered under one of your favorite spring or summer dresses for some warmth that still adds a textured detail to any look!
