#WhyWeWearBlack

ZTHE GOLDEN GLOBES 2018!
This year the Golden Globes was full of strength, power, dignity and compassion.  With the unexplainable craziness that took over 2017, I'm happy to see celebrities come together to stand up for what is RIGHT!

Complete with laughter, love, truth and tears; here are a few of my favorite quotes from the evening:

"It's 2018, marijuana is finally allowed, and sexual harassment finally isn't" - Host, Seth Meyers

"When my cheek is against yours, everything melts away, and that is love."  - Nicole Kidman to Keith Urban

"Nobody ever made a difference by being like everybody else."  -Hugh Jackman, in The Greatest Showman (ok, it IS a quote form the movie, but I'm OBSESSED!)

"I want all the girls watching here, now, to know that a new day is on the horizon! And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say "Me too" again."  - Oprah Winfrey

It was an evening of solidarity as all celebrities united in wearing black on the red carpet.  But that did not stop them from taking fashion risks, standing out, and looking absolutely stunning!
